The belly seems to be growing. The orange shirt photo was last week at 33 weeks, and the grey one is from eysterday at 34 weeks. I'd like to con myself into thinking that's all Oliver growing but that can't be since he's only supposed to be gaining 1/2 a lb a week now and I am gainging much more than that.
I forgot, last week at 33 weeks, both The Bump and Tarzan's Guide to Baby Development updated their size charts. The Bump says he's a delicious honeydew melon:
Baby’s senses are continuing to improve -- when light peeks in through your (extremely) stretched belly, those tiny eyelids and irises blink and dilate. And, baby can now recognize and react to simple songs… time to start practicing your lullabies! Growth (at least inside your womb) is starting to slow, and you may notice baby descend into your pelvis at the end of this month.
I think I already notice him being lower. The pressure on my stomach and lungs isn't as strong and I can eat more. So, I think he's lower, but he's still headsup. Every now and then I feel him stretching into my ribs, on the right side. Yes, he's still on the right side. My belly is lopsided.
As far as lullabies go, he's still getting to listen to Bob Seger, Reba McEntyre, Bon Jovi, ABBA, ... and he's loving them. Well, he better, he's got no choice till he's a teenager and can put his own headphones in and shut out his mom's weird music. For the fathers out there, look, I am carrying a shiny new:

I am not sure I like to think of the idea he can SEE light through your stomach skin... Just saying...
Glad he isn't shaped like a 17" laptop - can you imagine the corners and pressure then...
We uhhh put a flashlight up to my belly a couple weeks ago and he moved away from it and kicked it hehe
